Expensive, No Support and Phantom Features. SmaryLaunch started off well enough, but at $2.50 per device per month it gets expensive fast. That would be fine if there were support, and you will need support, but there is nothing that most would call support. They like to respond, if and when they get around to responding, with "read the knowledge base." They do this even if the problem is NOT in the knowledge base (KB) and/or if you have indicated that you have read the pertinent KB entries. It's as if the support people don't know the product themselves.I could not get one "feature" at to work at all and their ultimate response was, "I am sorry that you feel that way [that it doesn't work]." Now, how's that for support?!After a while I got the idea that several of the features were "phantom." I use virtual PCs to test and I good not get several of the features to work. A lot of those "features" were poorly documented, if they were at all, and support's typical response, if they responded at all, was "read this or that KB article."Ultimately this is a good Cafe management software for a small cafe or one not needing any of the advanced ("phantom") features, but then why would you want to pay $2.50 per device per month for basic features.
